01

Wireframing

The very first step in starting any Web Design Project is to design a wireframe. The aim of a wireframe is to provide a visual understanding of a page and to get stakeholder and project team members approval before the creative phase gets underway. This is to ensure the terminology and structure used for the site meets user expectations.

02

UI Design

The next phase in the design process is User interface (UI) design. This is where we aim to create interfaces which users find easy to use and pleasurable, ease to navigate and get the message across. We  considers all of these elements and how they work together to create interfaces that are both easy to navigate and visually pleasing.

UX Design

“User experience encompasses all aspects of the end-user’s interaction with the company, its services, and its products.”
— Don Norman, Cognitive Scientist & User Experience Architect

We as UX designers combine market research, product development, strategy, and design to create seamless user experiences for products, services, and processes.

We build a bridge to the customer, helping the company to better understand—and fulfill—their needs and expectations.

UI Elements

Input Controls

Are interactive elements that enables a user to enter information. Such controls include things like checkboxes, buttons, text fields and dropdown lists.

Navigational elements

This helps users to navigate an interface in order to complete their desired task. Navigational components include things like search fields, sliders and hamburger menus.

Informational components

These communicate useful information to the user, for example through message boxes, notifications and progress bars.

Containers

A container holds various elements, keeping them to a reasonable maximum width based on the user’s screen size.

The Quadrant Model

Experience Strategy (ExS)

Experience strategy is all about devising a holistic business strategy, incorporating both the customer’s needs and those of the company.

Interaction Design (IxD)

Interaction design looks at how the user interacts with a system, considering all interactive elements such as buttons, page transitions, and animations. Interaction designers seek to create intuitive designs that allow the user to effortlessly complete core tasks and actions.

User Research (UR)

UX design is all about identifying a problem and designing the solution. This requires extensive research and feedback from existing or potential customers.

Information Architecture (IA)

It is the practice of organising information and content in a meaningful and accessible way. This is crucial in helping the user to navigate their way around a product.
